How to Use the Online Designer to Create Your Own Custom Personal Trainer Kit

Creating customised Personal Trainer uniforms, gym clothing and branded fitness accessories has never been easier. Our online design tool allows you to add logos, text and personalised branding to a wide range of products, giving you complete control over the final design before placing your order.

Follow the steps below to create your custom gym wear or accessories.

Top Tip: Before launching the design tool, we recommend having your logo or artwork ready. For the best print results, use a high-resolution PNG file with a transparent background wherever possible.

Step 1: Choose Your Product

Browse our range of customisable gym clothing and accessories and select the item you would like to personalise.

Popular options include:

  • T-Shirts
  • Polo Shirts
  • Hoodies
  • Leggings
  • Shorts
  • Jackets
  • Caps
  • Gym Bags

Click on your chosen item to select it:

  • Click on the relevant swatch to choose your preferred colour.
  • Enter the quantity required next to the relevant size(s).
  • Click on the Sizing Details drop down to use the size guide if you need help selecting the correct fit.

Once you have selected your colour, sizes and quantities, click the Customise This Product button to launch the online design tool.

Step 2: Open the Online Designer

When you are ready, click the Customise This Product button to launch the online design tool.

Once the designer has loaded, you will see a preview of your selected product along with a range of customisation options.

From here you can:

  • Choose print locations
  • Add text
  • Upload designs and logos
  • Resize and reposition artwork
  • Preview your finished design before ordering

You can switch between available product views to see how your design will appear on different areas of the garment or accessory.

Step 3: Choose Your Print Location

Using the location options available, select where you would like your logo, design or text to appear.

Depending on the product selected, available print locations may include:

  • Left Chest
  • Right Chest
  • Front Area
  • Back Upper
  • Back Area
  • Back Lower
  • Left Sleeve
  • Right Sleeve

Please note that only available print locations will be displayed. If a particular location is not shown, customisation is not available in that location for the selected product.

Select your chosen print location. This can be done either by clicking directly on the product image and selecting the required print area, or by using the location dropdown menu provided. Once a print location has been selected, the print boundary will be highlighted in orange.

You can now choose to add:

  • Text
  • A Design or Logo
  • Both Text and a Logo within the same print area

You can personalise multiple print locations on the same product by selecting additional print areas and repeating the process.

Simply click the relevant icon at the top of the designer to begin.

Step 4: Add Personalised Text

To add text to your design:

  • Click the Add Text icon.
  • Enter the text you would like to include.
  • Click the Add Text button.

Your text will appear within the selected print area and a Text Properties panel will open.

Using the Text Properties panel, you can:

  • Resize your text and adjust its dimensions
  • Reposition the text
  • Change font style and colour
  • Apply bold and italic formatting

Arial is the default font and white is the default text colour, both of which can be changed using the Text Properties panel.

Please ensure that all text remains within the print boundary shown on screen.

Examples of text commonly added include:

  • Personal Trainer names
  • Job titles
  • Gym names
  • Social media handles
  • Motivational slogans

Step 5: Add a Logo or Design

To add a logo or design:

  • Click the Add Design icon.
  • Choose one of the available designs or click Upload Image in the top left corner.
  • Locate the file on your computer and double-click to upload it.
  • Tick the declaration confirming that you own the rights to print the image.
  • Click OK to continue.

Once uploaded, an Image Properties panel will appear displaying information about your artwork quality.

For the best printing results, we recommend supplying artwork at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.

Using the Image Properties panel, you can:

  • Resize your logo or design
  • Reposition artwork
  • Check image quality
  • Adjust the placement of your design within the selected print area

If the image quality warning indicates that your artwork may not print clearly, we recommend uploading a higher-resolution version before proceeding.

Please ensure your artwork remains within the print boundary shown on screen.

Step 6: Review Your Design

Before proceeding, carefully review your personalised item.

Check that:

✓ Your logo is clear and positioned correctly

✓ All text is spelled correctly

✓ Colours appear as expected

✓ Artwork is appropriately sized

✓ All elements remain within the print boundaries

✓ You have customised all required print locations

Taking a few moments to review your design now can help avoid delays or unwanted changes later.

Step 7: Add Your Personalised Item to the Basket

Once you are happy with the quality, size and position of your logo and/or text, click the Buy button.

Your personalised item will be added to the basket and a Your Cart window will appear.

From here you can choose to:

  • Start a New Design
  • Proceed to Checkout
  • Duplicate Your Existing Design

You can also use the Your Cart window to edit your order, adjust quantities or add additional personalised items before proceeding to checkout.

The Duplicate Design feature is ideal if you are ordering uniforms for multiple team members and only need to change names, job titles or other personalised details.

Step 8: Complete Your Order

Once all of your personalised products have been added to the basket, click on the Check Out button.

Before submitting your order, we recommend checking:

  • Product colours
  • Sizes
  • Quantities
  • Personalisation details
  • Delivery information

If you have created multiple personalised items, take a moment to review each design in your basket before completing your order.

Once your order has been placed, our production team will begin preparing your customised clothing or accessories using the design you created online.
